harper collins

reference catalogue

Harper Collins is one of the UK’s leading publishers, but their catalogue wasn’t space-efficient. It neither allowed for highlighting new or critical titles nor reflected the fantastic creativity of the books within it. The Harper Collins Reference team tasked me to develop a new catalogue format.

The new catalogue needed a user experience approach. I asked a lot of whys and hows to understand how the team uses it. Then I got to work.

From this information, I redesigned and regulated the reference system and created an extended bookmark that can be inserted anywhere to highlight specific titles. This approach saves space and brings the books to life. Now Harper Collins has a creative reference catalogue that does justice to the amazing titles in their collection.
